1. Is there any requirement for counterweight?

Under normal circumstances, the counterweight is determined according to the operation of the conveyor belt, and one principle needs to be followed: under the premise of no slippage, the lighter the counterweight, the better.

There are many factors that affect the counterweight: the reasonable and unreasonable position of the counterweight, the surface material of the driving roller, and the wear and tear of the counterweight all have a relatively large impact on the counterweight.

2. What are the requirements for the storage of glue and glue for bonding?

Film and glue should be stored in a dark, dry place, avoid direct sunlight, avoid all kinds of radiation, and keep away from fire. Films and glues should be kept in dusty places and avoid contact with various chemicals. The ambient humidity of film and glue should be 50 percent -75 percent , and the temperature should not be lower than 5 degree and not higher than 35 degree . Shelf life of film and glue: 1 month in summer, 2 months in winter, 1 and a half months in spring and autumn.

3. Why other construction units generally do not advocate the use of sealing glue?

The function of the sealant is mainly to connect the two ends of the vulcanized, but also to prevent the intrusion of harmful media such as water, and prevent the cleaner from damaging the joint. Therefore, in order to synchronize the service life of the vulcanized joint with the belt body, and to prolong the service life of the belt body, it is necessary to use sealing glue.

The use of sealing glue for vulcanized joints will increase the cost and also increase the difficulty of glue joints, so some construction units will not advocate the use of sealing glue. In practice, doing so has a negative impact on the service life of the conveyor belt.

4. Why does the cloth pattern have density and thickness?

The density and thickness of the cloth pattern are related to the variety and strength of the cloth. Since the modulus and strength of different fibers are different, in order to achieve the specified strength, fibers and yarns of different diameters and deniers must be used, so there are differences in the density and thickness of the cloth pattern. Generally speaking, , polyester should be dense and thick nylon; cloth with high strength is denser and thicker than cloth with low strength.
